How do I see my attending's consult list?

  • Cardiology: Add the WMH SHIFA Cardiology Consultants provider group through Cerner

  • Endocrinology & Rheumatology: Please check back here for instructions (to be updated shortly)

  • Gastroenterology: Please check back here for instructions (to be updated shortly)

  • Hematology & Oncology: Add the WMH Strauss Oncology provider group through Cerner

  • Infectious Disease: Send Dr. Jeffrey Lisowski a message through TigerConnect to be added to the list

  • Nephrology: Send Dr. Neil Soifer and Dr. Paru Kathpalia a message through TigerConnect to be added to the list

  • Neurology: Contact the chief residents to be added to Dr. Nitin Nadkarni’s list

  • Palliative Care: Add the WMH Palliative Care provider group through Cerner

  • Pulmonary: Add the WMH LAKEVIEW PULMONARY CONSULT provider group through Cerner

How do I add a provider group?

  • Under the patient list screen, click the wrench icon (List Maintenance)

  • Click New

  • Under Patient List Type, click Provider Group then click Next

  • Under the list of Provider Groups, select the appropriate Provider Group (see above) then click Finish

  • Select the newly added provider group under “Available lists,” then click the right arrow to move it to your active lists

  • Click OK

How do I filter the list so I only see current patients?

Note, while the filtering instructions below are helpful, it is your responsibility to always ensure your list is accurate. There may be situations when it may be necessary to disable the filter.

  • Under the “Patient List” screen, click the hand holding a piece of paper icon (Properties).

  • Select Encounter Types

    • Select Inpatient

    • Select Observation

  • Select Discharge Criteria

    • Select Only display patients that have not been discharged

  • Click OK

My attending said they added me to their list but I don't see it!

  • Under the patient list screen, click the wrench icon (List Maintenance)

  • Check to see if there is a newly added provider group under “Available lists.” If it’s there, select the newly added provider group under “Available lists,” then click the right arrow to move it to your active lists. If it’s not there, please verify with your attending that you were added correctly.
